NI CarSearch is an online vehicle marketplace operated by NI CarSearch Ltd, based in Ballyclare, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. Our platform connects private sellers and dealers with potential buyers of vehicles across Northern Ireland.

NI CarSearch acts solely as an advertising platform. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers, and we do not buy, sell, or take ownership of any vehicles listed on our platform.

By using NI CarSearch — whether as a buyer, seller, dealer, or visitor — you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Northern Ireland and the UK
• Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions in full

NI CarSearch is an advertising platform only. We do not inspect, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any vehicle listing. We are not involved in the negotiation, sale, or transfer of any vehicle.

We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy, completeness, or legality of any listing
• The condition, roadworthiness, or legal status of any vehicle advertised
• Any transaction that takes place between a buyer and a seller
• Any disputes arising between buyers and sellers
• Any loss, damage, or injury arising from a vehicle purchased through our platform
• Any fraudulent listings posted by third parties
• The seller's identity, creditworthiness, or ability to transfer title

All buyers are strongly advised to carry out their own due diligence, including a vehicle history check (HPI or similar), physical inspection, and legal verification of ownership before purchasing any vehicle.

If you list a vehicle on NI CarSearch, you confirm and warrant that:

• You are the legal owner of the vehicle or have authority to sell it
• All information provided in the listing is accurate, truthful, and not misleading
• The vehicle is roadworthy and complies with all applicable legal requirements, or any defects are clearly disclosed
• You will not post duplicate listings of the same vehicle
• You will remove or mark the listing as sold promptly once a sale is completed
• You will not list stolen, cloned, or illegally obtained vehicles
• You will not use our platform to engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
• You will respond to genuine buyer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• The asking price displayed is the full asking price (VAT must be clearly indicated where applicable)

NI CarSearch reserves the right to remove any listing at our sole discretion without notice if we believe it violates these terms or may harm users of our platform.

As a buyer using NI CarSearch, you agree to:

• Use the platform only for lawful purposes
• Conduct your own due diligence before purchasing any vehicle
• Verify the seller's identity and the vehicle's legal status before completing any transaction
• Never transfer money to a seller without first viewing the vehicle in person
• Report any suspicious listings or sellers to us immediately
• Not submit false or malicious enquiries to sellers

You must not use NI CarSearch to post or transmit:

• Fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive listings
• Listings for stolen, cloned, or illegally obtained vehicles
• Content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or illegal
• Spam, chain letters, or unsolicited commercial communications
• Viruses or any malicious code
• Content that infringes any intellectual property rights
• Personal data of third parties without their consent
• Content that violates any applicable law or regulation

You must not:

• Use automated tools, scrapers, bots, or scripts to access or copy content from our platform without written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper operation of our platform
• Harvest email addresses or personal data of other users
• Impersonate any person or organisation

All content on NI CarSearch — including our logo, brand name, design, software, text, and graphics — is the property of NI CarSearch Ltd and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

When you submit a listing, you grant NI CarSearch a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your listing content (including photos) for the purpose of operating our platform and promoting our services.

You confirm that you own or have the right to use all content you submit, including any photographs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NI CarSearch Ltd shall not be liable for:

• Any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, our platform
• Any transactions entered into through our platform
• Any fraudulent listings or communications from third parties
• Any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages
• Loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill
• Any inaccuracy in vehicle data sourced from DVLA or third-party APIs

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

Vehicle data displayed on NI CarSearch — including make, model, year, engine size, fuel type, CO2 emissions, and MOT information — is sourced from the DVLA and third-party data providers. While we take reasonable steps to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee that this data is complete or up to date.

Running cost estimates (fuel, road tax, insurance) are estimates only and are provided for guidance purposes. Actual costs will vary depending on individual driving habits, insurance providers, fuel prices, and other factors. These estimates do not constitute financial advice.

To list a vehicle or access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, at our sole discretion and without notice.

NI CarSearch is currently free to use for private sellers. We reserve the right to introduce fees at any time. If fees are introduced, existing users will be given reasonable notice before charges apply.

Dealer pricing and packages are agreed separately. Please contact us for dealer rates.

Your use of NI CarSearch is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our platform, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website. Visiting third-party websites is at your own risk.

We aim to keep NI CarSearch available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our platform at any time without notice.

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available at nicarsearch.com/terms. Continued use of our platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
